This Luscious emerald Green with gold, antique Victorian glass berry bowl set was made by Tarentum Glass Co., circa 1900. This incredible eapg pattern is called 'Tarentum's Victoria'. Each of these divine bowls is lavishly adorned with ornamental jeweled scrolling designs, shimmering with shiny gold, and elegantly flowing down four sides of the fancy scalloped top rim. Between these shimmering gold details are delicate raised flowers, adding more detail to this Outstanding Tarentum glass pattern. Each round berry bowl measures 4 1/4 inches across the scalloped top rim X 2 3/8 inches high X 2 3/4 inches across the round footed pedestal base with additional scrolling design. Typical seam roughness and a few tiny hidden flakes here and there, these bowls are really in Very good condition for their age - With Lots of gold highlights remaining - they display beautifully, and with all the Charming characteristics of antique Victorian made glass! This emerald green glass glows a weak yellow-green under uv blacklight to further verify age. This is a Gorgeous, seldom-seen Tarentum pattern! ( In my years of collecting glass, I have seen only a couple tumblers in this pattern! ) Truly a SpeCiaL antique treasure to admire and enjoy!
