Dithridge milk glass Victorian Large bowl, Colonial pattern 'fern dish'

This Beautifully decorated antique Victorian milk glass bowl is the "Colonial" pattern made by Dithridge Glass Company, circa 1899. It is also called "Rose Wreath". The 1899 Dithridge catalog actually refers to this bowl as a ‘fern dish’. This Large antiQue opaque white milk glass bowl is Dramatically scalloped around the top and bottom edges, and molded with a garland of roses and vines in high relief, all the way around! Hand-painted in lovely green, orange, and yellow hues! Measuring 7 1/4 inches across X 3 1/4 inches deep - this is a large, heavy milk glass bowl! It is in GrEaT condition for its 110 years, with some roughness around the bottom edge which is nearly undetectable due to the ruffled pattern. The hand-painted decoration has some wear, but is still gorgeous, as well! A Great antiQue Dithridge piece! You will probably not come across another one like it! Quite a special tReAsUre!
