Eapg Adams glass, Horseshoe goblet, Prayer rug, Good Luck
This Dramatically detailed antiQue Victorian ( Early American pattern glass ) Goblet was made by Adams Glass Co., circa 1880's. This eapg pattern has three commonly used names - Horseshoe, Good Luck, and Prayer Rug! It is a very ornate pattern with lots of crisp details - including a band of scrolling arches beneath a stippled and beaded band around the top, three rectangle shaped decorated oriental ‘rugs’ surrounded by leafy ferns with flowers, with three pointed star designs in between. It also has a delightful ‘belt’ complete with buckle which encircles the lower edge of the bowl! Measures 6 inches tall X 3 ¼ inches across the top rim X 3 ¼ inches across the round footed base. In Very Good condition with a small, barely detectable, ‘bruise’ / nick on the topside of the foot, and some expected slight surface scratches from use (priced accordingly). Glows a soft yellow-green under uv blacklight to further verify age. A very uniQue Victorian pattern glass goblet for you to enjoy!
