This Early American Pattern Glass (Eapg) child's / miniature souvenir mug was made by Westmoreland Glass Company circa 1898-1905. The pattern is "Beaded Swirl and Ball", or sometimes called "Puritan". It is a great antiQue eapg pattern with beaded, crystal clear swirling columns, trimmed in gold, and a gold beaded handle with ball finial. A popular Victorian era souvenir item - it has fancy gold lettering around the top rim that reads "Souvenir Boston." This antiQue miniature glass / child's mug measures 3 1/4" tall X 2 inches across the top rim X 2 1/4" wide across the base with pressed star design. In Excellent condition with NO chips or cracks, only minor mold line roughness common in antiQue Victorian glass. Much of the original gold trim still remaining also! Glows a lovely yellow-green under uv blacklight to further verify age!
