Victorian Sugar Shaker muffineer, Coraopolis, Milk glass, Eagle Glass Co.

This is a DiVine Victorian milk glass Sugar shaker or muffineer, circa 1890’s! Most likely made by the Eagle Glass Company, it is creamy white, mold-blown opaque milk glass. This antiQue sUgAr shaker has fabulous molded details including: a band of beads around the very top, a beaded, scrolling fleur-de-lis design around the lower portion and a wonderful hand-painted Coraopolis floral pattern vining up and around the body of the shaker! The five-petal blooms are painted a soft yellow, with orange centers, the leaves are shades of green and brown and there are clusters of pink berries. This hefty, Bulbous-shaped antiQue sugar shaker measures nearly 5 inches tall X 4 inches across the lower half. In Excellent condition! The shiny lid appears to be a newer replacement, but fits very well. This Great Old muffineer feels Lovely to hold - You are sure to Love it! ** Note - Some Roughness around the rim under the lid occurs when the shaker is snapped off of the pontil rod, and is a Normal condition for all Victorian mold-blown shakers - a sign that they are truly antique!
