Victorian Glass opalescent Blue trumpet vase, epergne, Jefferson "Lily Spool"

This Lovely, blue antiQue glass `Jack-in-the-Pulpit' trumpet-shaped epergne Vase was made by the Jefferson Glass Company between 1900 and 1907. Jefferson called this Eapg glass pattern "Single Lily Spool." This gorgeous epergne vase has a fantastic opalescence and is a marvelous blue color with a hint of green hues. Graceful tulip shaped sparkling antique glass with a pressed ribbed pattern that resembles thread wound around a spool which begins near the foot of the 6 ½ inch vase and stops just short of the rim. This hard to find Jefferson Glass antique epergne vase is in Excellent condition, with only minimal signs of use - and no chips or cracks! Glows a soft yellow under uv blacklight to further verify age. Shown on pg. 131 of "Opalescent Glass 4th edition" 2002 by Edwards & Carwile - where it is valued at $145.
