This Victorian satin glass shaker with tiny enameled flowers, was made by Mt. Washington Glass Co., circa 1890 - 1900. The pattern is called "Little Apple". This silky smooth antique satin glass is a creamy white with a hint of pink at the top and bottom. This mold blown, sphere shaped salt / pepper shaker measures 1 7/8 inches tall and is in excellent condition including the silver-plate lid. The top opening beneath the lid is somewhat rough - as are all these Victorian mold blown glass shakers, since this is where they were snapped off the pontil rod when finished. A sPeCiaL, little Victorian ArT gLaSS shaker to add to your collection!
