Roseville Pottery 'Bushberry' hanging pot, planter
Made by Roseville Pottery in the early 1940's this exquisite hanging planter, or flower pot with it's crisply detailed pattern of leaves and berries on a textured 'bark' background is called 'Bushberry'. Done in Roseville's gorgeous matte glaze finish, with earthy tones of green, brown and orange this is quite a BeAuTiful piece of Vintage art pottery!
This awesome, authentic Roseville 'Bushberry' art pottery basket measures approx. 8 inches wide X 6 inches deep, and is 5 1/2 inches across the top rim. It has a rounded bottom, three 'twig' handles and three holes to attach hanging chains. It is marked 'USA' in raised letters near the top rim. In VERY GOOD condition overall with no cracks or crazing, Just typical manufacturers tiny glaze 'pops' inside, and a couple, very shallow smooth flakes on the top rim edge, that could easily be touched up. ( I assure you, these look much worse than they actually are when magnified in the close-up photos!) Priced well below book value to reflect these minor flaws! Very clean inside and out - this planter obviously saw very little use! Roseville pottery planters such as this are becoming quite scarce, since Not many of these hanging pots have survived! Current 'Book' values on this Bushberry hanging planter easily exceed $300! Add this LoVeLy piece of High Quality Roseville to your art pottery collection!
