Victorian Lithograph on Linen, Musician's Autograph Pillowcase
The Image features an Adoring Couple (Gibson Girl style), surrounded by white envelopes and musical instruments (Guitar, Harp, Mandolin and Violin), with a Musical Note Border at the top and bottom and the phrase "Should auld acquaintance be forgot" .
Intended as an autograph memento pillowcase, several of the envelopes have signatures from friends from Ohio, Kansas, etc.
The back is green fabric. Securely stitched edging, finished on 3 sides with one side open to stuff with a pillow insert.
There are a few age spots on the back, the front is clean with some mild wear to the illustration. No smoke or mildew odor. Suitable for its intended use as a Decorative Pillowcase or for framing.
