Jose Clemente Orozco was a Mexican social realist painter who specialized in murals and helped establish the Mexican Mural Renaissance, along with Diego Rivera and other Mexican Artists. He was a genre painter and lithographer and often used a theme of human suffering for political causes of peasants and workers.
