American Character Betsy McCall 8" Doll in "Birthday Party"

A Sweet Little 8" Betsy McCall Doll, all hard plastic, made in 1958 by American Character. Nice face coloring, sleep eyes, very thick dark blonde wig in longer style, with original barrettes intact, rubber skull cap. She does have a crack at crotch seam and the legs are swingy but not loose from the torso. Head stringing a bit loose as well. She is dressed in an Original Betsy McCall Outfit, "Birthday Party" including yellow nylon dress with attached embroidered over-skirt, lace trimmed collar and cuffs, gathered nylon trim at bodice with yellow ribbon bow, matching yellow panties, eyelet trimmed crinoline, open straw hat and white vinyl shoes. Missing only the socks, otherwise outfit is complete. A few chips along the hat edge, otherwise outfit is Excellent Condition. A Darling Little Doll in Original Outfit!
