1880 Emerald Diamond Sterling Gold Pendant

This great piece purchased years ago in Canada has a regal or medallion feel. It is 2 1/4" by 1 5/8". It is Sterling on the front to support the Diamonds and yellow gold on the back, as was the fashion. There are two 0.25 CT Diamonds which surround a @0.75 CT deep green Emerald. The front of the piece is studded with Rose Cut Diamonds and it hangs from an ample bale.

84, the Russian hallmark for Sterling it incised on the plaque on the back, hard to see. It weigh 18.5 grams and is in excellent estate condition.

Authentic and unique this fine piece of antique jewelry would not be missed. And due to its regal feel could be worn by either gender.
