Georg Jensen Brooch #113 with Carnelian Cabochon

Here is another beautiful and impressive brooch by the master silver smith Georg Jensen. It is a Sterling flower with an amazing carnelian cabochonin the center. Georg Jensen only used stones in cabochon and I think it makes his pieces look even richer. The brooch is in excellent estate condition and bears a 1945 hallmark. The clasp works well. It is 1 3/4"in diameter and weighs 13.1 grams. It has not been polished - although I can do that if the buyer wishes. If you look around the Internet you will see that this brooch retails for a much dearer price.
