Gorgeous Tagged Lenci Salon/Boudoir Lady - Lillian Gish face

GORGEOUS early 1920's Lenci Salon Lady/Boudoir doll series 165 in EXCELLENT condition. She has the most gorgeous face which collectors call the "Gish" face believed to have been fashioned after Lillian Gish a famous actress of the time. She measures 24" and has wonderful pressed and painted facial features exquisitely done with brown side glancing eyes, painted lashes and arched brows. She has the lower lighter lip color with the 2 dots which Lenci is known for. Her blonde mohair wig is styled with long ringlets in the front and a little bun in the back. Her outfit consists of felt and organdy boxes with a wonderful corsage of felt roses trailing her waist (pinned on) and in her hair. She is also wearing a white ruffly pinafore or apron with 2 ruffled pockets and is holding a hankie in one hand. She has 2 organdy slips as undergarments, her original stockings and black high heeled shoes. She has a felt swivel head and elongated body with moving legs for sitting or standing position. Overall she is in excellent condition for her age. There is some age darkening to her outfit to be expected due to her age and under close inspection in the back I see one small spot and a slight tear in one of the organdy boxes. Also a couple of small tears on her stockings and one under her shoe. Nothing at all distracting but mentioned for accuracy only. She is tagged Turin Italy 165/26 which is the tag Lenci used in the early 1920's. Absolutely STUNNING EARLY Lenci hardly ever seen and in excellent condition. She is sure to become a favorite fast!:O)
