Syd Hoff died in 2004 but his legacy continues through his books and over 500 cartoons that were published in the New Yorker Magazine from 1931 to 1975.

The Young Cartoonist, the ABC's of Cartooning was created by the author for young people just beginning to show an interest in learning cartooning. It is a perfect introduction to the art and is suitable for classroom as well as home study.
