The text was printed at the Riverside Press in Cambridge, Mass. and the plates were printed at the Lakeside Press in Chicago and at the Pudor Press in Boston, in August, 1940. No slipcase with this volume.

319 pages, Book and binding tight. Top edge gold gilt pages, Linen hardback. with gold embossed birds and black book plate with Audubons America on cover. Cover has natural staining and aging on the exterior. Interior is good with some tanning of pages. Pages have raw edges.
