Children's Book: 1920 Margery Morris and Plain Jane
The First book, "Margery Morris" was the story of a young girl in a quaint old Quaker town in New Jersey. It told of friends she made and the fun and mishaps she and the great surprise she received at the end.
The third book, which is the one that we've listed here, tells of the summer Margery spends at the beautiful seashore place of Wyanoke, where she lives a wonderfully happy and healthy out-of-door life surrounded by her friends... Among these is a new friend, Jane Gale, or "Plain Jane" as she calls herself. This book is a wonderful story for young readers and how a friend can help someone who life is less settled than hers and how she helps her friends through her disappointments and sadness. It is a book with some great truths,, and a new peace and happiness.
