Vivid Cobalt Blue Cloisonne Enamel Pendant Necklace Glass Beads
Ancestral Arts celebration of the highly developed art form from China at the end of the Ming dynasty. This art form was developed by laying enamels into "cloisons" or cells by fusing ribbon copper wires onto a copper base and gold plating in high karat gold. This vintage brooch / pendant (2-1/4" x 1-3/4") was offered by the Museum Company which showcases beautiful examples of art in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The rich blue cobalt is gorgeous and we have hand-assembled a stunning glass bead necklace to compliment this wonderful Cloisonne brooch / pendant. The vintage glass beads are corrugated or ridged (11mm) and separated by gold plate beads and poured glass spacers (8mm). Necklace Length: 25 inches.
