A vintage A. Micallef and Company glass pendant necklace made sometime after 1935. The pendant has a nice silver chain that it comes with which is great and goes well with the pendant. The AMCO pendant is composed of a 1/20 12kt gold over sterling silver which forms the amazing openwork filigree metal pendant which is centered by one half clear glass and one half sapphire colored glass which forms a full emerald cut glass center prong set into open backed metal. The pendant is suspended by a 1/20 12kt gold over sterling pendant bail that looks fantastic and the entire piece would look fantastic on a 1/20 12kt gold chain. This pendant is signed in three places on the back. The top of the back is signed "1/20 12K" which is somewhat visible yet has faded a bit from age. The other end of the back of this pendant is signed "Sterling" on the side is signed "AMCO". This pendant measures 7/8" long by 1/2" in width and is in fantastic overall condition with no wear to any of the metal or the center glass stone at all.
