A marvelous and rare runway necklace and earrings made by the highly sought after 1970s designer for Trifari known as Kunio Matsumoto. These chains meet up at the enormous centerpiece which is composed of a gold toned metal with a lovely gold toned enameling that has a dazzling glitter effect that looks great. The back of this centerpiece is signed "Kunio Matsumoto" inside of an oval cartouche with the signature "Trifari" under it. The necklace is fastened with a gold toned metal fold over style clasp that is also signed "Trifari" on the back side. The earrings have two semi-circle shaped dangles made up of gold toned metal with sections of gold enameling as well. These dangles hang from two gold toned metal sections that have studded closures that hold great. The back of each earring is also signed "Trifari" inside of an oval cartouche. The necklace measures 17 3/4" long with the center section being 2" long by 3 1/2" wide. Each earring measures 1 1/4" long by 1 3/8" wide and the entire set is in amazing condition with no flaws.
