Art Deco Bagley Featherstone Amber Glass Trinket Set 7pc #3085

We are pleased to present this gorgeous Art Deco amber glass trinket, vanity or dresser set made in England by the Bagley Glass Company. The set is designated #3805 and was called Featherstone, with manufacture beginning in 1939 and continuing into the early 1950s. There are seven pieces to the set; the large tray, a pair of small covered boxes, a large covered box, a pair of candlesticks and a pin tray which is a miniature of the vanity tray. The pieces have an octagonal, 8-sided shape, with the bass of the jars having a round base.

All pieces are in remarkable condition, with tiny flea-bite nips on the outer rim of one small box and the large box and a tiny 1/32" chip on the outside top of the large box. We find a few air bubbles in the glass on some pieces.

The tray is 12 5/8" by 7 3/4". The candlesticks are 5" tall. The small boxes are 3 1/8" tall with lid; the large box is 3 1/2" tall with lid, and the pin tray is 3 1/2" by 2 1/4".

This is an exceptional and complete set with fabulous detail and color. An ad was placed in "The Pottery Gazette and Glass Trade Journal" in July of 1939, which pictures the complete set.
