Here is a coin silver napkin ring which is clearly American; it dates from c. 1870. Little distinction was made between coin silver and sterling in those days, and this does not have any hallmarks. It has beautiful floral repousse work. The diameter is 2 inches (it tapers down toward the middle), and the width is 1.5 inches. It weighs 1.3 ounces. The cartouche has the name "Seward".
