This lovely sterling napkin ring is larger than most in that the diameter is 2 full inches (most are a quarter inch less). The width is 1.25 inches. There is detailed applied work over the whole ring, partly floral and partly decorative--beautiful Art Nouveau design. It is marked sterling on the inside and has the three Gorham hallmarks as well as the number B2600. This napkin ring is an example of American silversmithing at its best. It weighs 1.5 ounces, much heavier than a typical napkin ring. Inside one of the cartouches is the name "Llewellyn".
