This lovely glass biscuit jar was made by the renowned English firm of Walker and Hall. The glass is heavy and fine and the silverplate lid is marked on the underside with the W&H mark. It is 6.5 inches tall with the handle down and 4.25 inches across the top. I have tried to show the intricate designs on the glass though this never shows as well in a picture as in reality. It is in pristine condition and dates from the early 20th century. The biscuit jar makes a wonderful serving piece for tea cookies.
