Large Unusual Bisque Doll Pin Cushion

This is a LARGE, 6&1/2 inch tall bisque doll that has been made into a roly poly pin cushion. Her feet are exposed at the bottom, so she stands on her own. She's wearing a bonnet made of matching purple satin that covers the pin cushion. She's just adorable, and has nicely painted facial features. She's in very good condition, but is missing her right thumb. No other damage to her. As you can see in the photos, the purple satin covering has no holes, but does show some wear from use. Embossed on her back is, "Made In Japan". Circa 1920s.
