The mark on the bottom of this lovely, Oldcourt Ware, lusterware piece dates it between 1931 and 1935. It measures 6 inches tall, and 9&1/2 inches across from handle to handle. The handpainted, lusterware finish is primarily pink, with blue and purple accents. It's in excellent condition, with no chips cracks or repairs. There is all over crazing underneath the glaze that is visible in the white areas. There is some wear, or missed areas of the gold trim, on the edges top and bottom rims. Surprising to me, considering the work done by this company, is that there are a couple of areas in the crevices near the bottom, and by the handles, where the glaze was "skipped". It weighs about 2&1/2 pounds, before packing.
