Vintage Popeye Paints in Tin Box With Great Graphics

Bright, crisp, colorful lithograph image of Popeye, Olive Oyl and Swee Pea on the hinged lid of this tin box that holds 14 paint rounds. The original, plastic water vessel is inside, too. This was made in the U.S.A. by The American Crayon Company. The last copyright date is 1933, but I believe this tin was made in the 1940's. The paints have been used, but the tin box itself is in excellent condition. It shows minor surface wear on the top when held into the light. Displays beautifully. It measures 5&1/2 by 4&1/4 inches.
