1950's tin wind up toy with built in key. Wind him up, and he waddles along. It was made in the U.S.A. by J Chein & Company in the early 1950s. The colors are bright, and although he works well, he's far from perfect. I've included a lot of photos to best describe condition. There is some paint loss, primarily to his feet, and the back side of his blue pants. There is a cut in the tin on his nose. Odd, because there are no indentations, or other damage from whatever could put a cut there. Still, a cutie pie, at a bargain price. He measures 4&3/4 inches tall.
