Antique Victorian Pink Rose Art Glass and Metal Candle Holder

Beautiful sections of pinks, mixed with clear and white, slag glass make up the petals on the open rose bud that is is attached by individual wires to the decorative, heavy metal stem and base. There is no evidence of wax, so there may have been a glass insert a one time. A votive candle, in glass, would easily fit inside. There was a green leaf on each side of the base. I say, "Was" because as I was moving it to take photographs, one of them came off in my hand. There are remnants of old glue, where it was, so it had come off before. The leaf didn't break, and will be included. The overall height is 10&1/4 inches. Circa 1880s
