1890's Tin Photo Handsome Older Gentleman
This is NOT a tintype, but a photo on tin. The entire piece is tin, including the "wood" grain frame. It's good size, measuring about 6 by 8 inches, and has a built in, metal hook on the back for hanging on a wall. It was purchased with another tin photo, of a child, that has a hand written note on the back, with the date, 1893, and this one would be from the same time. I consider it to be in very good to excellent condition on the front, but it does have a few tiny, white paint speckles. They didn't come off with Windex, and I don't want to scrape them. The brass backing is very good, with age oxidation that you would expect from an antique.
