It's amazing that any of these fragile, vintage motion lamps survived. While this one has a few condition issues, it has the original spinner and works great. On one side is a 1914 Stutz Bearcat, and on the other side is a 1912 Ford Model T. When turned on, the heat from the light bulb makes the spinner inside turn, giving the effect that the cars are moving down the road with trees and other landscape behind them. I've included a lot of photos to best describe condition. The spinner is perfect. The base is fine, except minor wear to the gold finish. The shade has no cracks on the sides, but plastic rim around the top does. The surface of the shade has 3 scuffed areas. Most noticeable is on the driver's headlight on the Model T. There is a dent across the center of the Stutz. As you can see in the photos, it hasn't caused any cracking, and is not seen when the light is turned on, unless you look closely for it. Gee....this sounds a lot worse than it looks in person, so please check out the photos. I've taken these flaws into consideration when pricing this classic, and hard to find mid century lamp.
