Vintage Figural Tape Measure

Adorable, bright red apple figural tape measure. The apple is made of plastic, and the tape, itself, is metal. It measures 2&1/2 inches tall. Pull out the green leaf and one quarter turn of the stem to the right and it locks, one quarter turn to the left and it is released. The bottom is marked, "United Device Corp Great Neck, NY, Patent Pending". Circa 1950's-60's. Excellent condition. Neat item for a school teacher's desk.
