Gorgeous Art Deco Boxed Desert Set BAKELITE Handles

Circa 1930's, this is an absolutely gorgeous, vintage desert set that comes mint in its original box. The set includes 6, desert size forks, and one cake, or pie server. The handle are two toned, inlaid bakelite in butterscotch, and marbled brown. The original tag is still on the server, which says, "Baron, Solingen, Germany". The box inside has lovely, yellow satin lining with a gold, braided edge. Like the utensils, the lining is clean, and in excellent condition. The elastic cord that holds the pieces in place is loose, but all there. Outside, the cardboard box shows wear, and has 2 split corners. The forks measure 6&1/2 inches long, and the server is 9&1/2. A beautiful, never used set.
