I love these old horse racing, and race track photos, and buy them whenever I can. This one is the nicest, and the largest, that I've seen. It measures a whopping 14 by 17 inches (framed size. It's "framed" in a typical, Art Deco cardboard frame. As you can see in my pictures, the frame is clean, but shows edge wear. The photo, itself, is excellent. This was the 6th race of the day, held at Tropical Park on March 16, 1946. Jockey, C. Bierman. Check out the black and white shoes on the Mafia looking guy standing by the trainer! He must have been the owner.
I currently have several horse racing items in my shop, and am happy to combine shipping. To see them all, type, "horse" in the search box at the top of this page.
