These vintage souvenir hula girl nodders were never meant to be a "fine collectible", so were often sloppily painted. This one, however, has a very pretty, and carefully hand painted face. She's 6&3/4 inches tall, and is strumming her ukulele. Made of a pottery like, composition material, including her base that says, "Aloha". She's wearing a soft, silky, yellow "grass skirt", and has the original cloth flower in her hair. This one was not made with a magnet on the bottom. The original foil sticker is intact, "Empress, Made in Japan". Excellent condition....No chips, dings, cracks or repairs. Just one scratch to the paint on the side of the base.
I currently have several pieces of vintage Hawaiiana in my shop, and am happy to combine shipping. You can see them all by typing the word, "Hawaiian" in the search box at the top of this page.
