Unusual, deep hand carving on this 1930's, 1 inch wide, butterscotch bakelite bracelet. Short carved strokes going opposite directions give it a basket weave look. I'm not sure if it was intentional, or the person caving it just pooped out, but there are 4 small sections on one edge that were left smooth. See photos. Still looks great, and is large, and intricate enough, to make a statement worn alone. Of course it looks fabulous worn with other bakelite bracelets, too! The opening is the standard 2&1/2 inches. Tests positive, and as with ALL of my bakelite, is guaranteed to be as 1930's AMERICAN bakelite.
