Antique French Folding Fan HP Mother of Pearl Sticks Signed Leger

This is a very lovely antique folding fan circa 1880. Hand painted on skin with a charming family scene; mother, father & baby seated in a park like setting, Dad playing with the toddler. A third adult, a woman, stands to the side. The artistry is quite nice, and the artist signed the fan. On the back there is a rendering of musical motif. The mother of pearl sicks and guards are engraved and gilt. the loop is gilt with rose gold, and the rivet has a mother of pearl mounted 'bead'. The front of the fan is trimmed with gold sequins. This fan is in very good to excellent condition. Some minor wear along the folded lines of the fan.
