19thC Scrimshaw Carved Bone Whistle with Great Form, Works

A neat c1800s Scrimshaw Whistle. The whistle is carved from bone and the mouth piece has a small piece of hard wood. The whistle works fine. It measures 2 7/8" long and is 7/8" in diameter. The whistle is in very good overall condition. It does have darkening of the bone which is common to a piece of this age. The whistle would be perfect in a Toy, Nautical or Music related collection.
