Rare Edwardian Mahogany, Treen 2 Tier Lazy Susan

A nice antique (circa early 1900s) Treen Lazy Susan. The Lazy Susan has 2 tiers, the large one turns. They were used in the center of a table so dinner guests could simply turn the tier to the desired condiment, seasoning or pastry. This lovely example is made of Mahogany or Walnut wood and measures 18" in diameter across the bottom tier, 4 3/4" across the top and 6 3/4" high. It retains the original finish which has a great time worn look, otherwise it would be perfect for refinishing. The Lazy Susan is in very good overall condition. The only thing to note is a burn spot on the top tier and minor wear to the finish on the edges, see photos. It could use a new felt on the bottom. The Lazy Susan would be perfect on a large dining room table, it could go from Classic to Country and every style in between.
