The Estate Fob Charm Is Fabricated In Gold Fill, It Is Unmarked As To Maker. It Has A Wonderful Embellished Edge and Fancy Bail At Top and Decorative Ring Around The Bottom. The Double Sided Charm Has The Applied Enameled Emblem Of The Knights Of Columbus on Both The Front and Back.
The Unique Emblem Has A Shield on a Maltese Cross, Turned Sideways; The Ideal That Shields Associated With Medieval Knights. The Cross Represents the Cross of Christ and All Graces for Mankind. This Cross and Shield Symbolizes The Catholic Spirit and Commitment of The Knights Of Columbus. Mounted to the Shield a Medieval Ax, an Anchor and Sword. The Colors Red, White and Blue Are Representative Of Our Country As Well As Symbolism Of God In Bloodshed, Eucharist and Mary. The Emblem Is Worn With Religious Conviction, Honor and Pride.
This Victorian Era Antique Fob Is In Very Good Condition. It Has Surface Wear Consistent With Age and Use, The Enameling Is Intact. The Charm Measures 1-1/8" In Size.
