1940's Heart Locket In Gold Fill With Swirl Design WH Hallmark

The Estate Locket Is Gold Fill And Inside Bears The Hallmark WH 1/20 12K On A Diamond Cartouche. W&H Jewelry was a Providence, RI Company Who Made Sweetheart Jewelry During The WWII Era. The Company Was In Existence From Around 1943-1965.

The Front Of The Locket Features A Nice Linear Pattern With A Swirled Cartouche To The Left Side. The Right Side Has A Larger Similar Swirl With Pretty Feathered Pattern Border. It Has A Lovely Decorative Bail. The Back Of The Locket Is Plain.

The Locket Opens East To West With Notch. Inside There Are Two Bezels, Two Celluloid Covers and Two Black and White Photos Of Handsome Men, Perhaps Brothers. Always Makes One Ponder The Mystery Of The People Inside.

The Locket Is In Excellent Condition With Mild Surface Scratches Consistent With Age And Use Of A Previously Loved Collectible. It Measures 1-1/8" In Size Without Bail. A Lovely Vintage Collectible Heart Locket.
