Fabulous Fratelli Toso Murano Glass Piece
This is a wonderful piece of vintage Murano glass! It is a thick milky opalescent color with dancing ribboned canes running across. The ribbons are light blue with gold and a deep rich brown with gold. These are great colors work very well with today's modern surroundings. This is a perfect specimen with no chips, cracks or even scratches. There is a similar glass bowl in Leslie Pina's "Italian Glass Century 20" page number 164. It is very similar, only a slight variation on the shape. It's by Fratelli Toso and measures 9.5" long x 5" wide. The glass is about 1/2" thick!
