Vintage Pony Hide Purse late 1950's to early 1960's

This is a darling Pony Hide purse with lovely brass hardware. The fur is in nice condition HOWEVER there is some loss. There are small patches of fur missing on the lower corners of the bag, the front top of the bag, the back of the bag, and the handle. The handle is in otherwise excellent condition with no cracking. The purse is made up of primarily brown fur, so generally wherever you see white, it is fur missing. As you can see it sort of blends in and just looks as though it's spotted fur, like cow hide. The purse has three interior pockets, one of which zippers shut. The zipper works great and is marked Best. There is no name on the purse, but it is well made and has stood the test of time. It measures 6 3/4" x 9" x 3 1/2". The handle adds an additional 6".
