Free Blown with Arched Painted "P.Antimon:" on this original Apothecary or Drug Store Glass Jar. Circa 1860 to 1880. Original perfect fitting polished glass Stopper ! (possibly German for Poisonous Antimony ?)

Free Blown Medium Size Glass "Apothecary" Jar with an EAPG polished Stopper ! No Cracks or Chips anywhere on Jag. Lid has a couple normal flea bites. Shows a professionally Polished pontil mark on the base. Very Nice formed top lip ! The polished inside stopper neck opening is perfectly matched to the polished molded stopper. Honest minor frosty wear patterns on bottom.

Jag has been thoroughly Cleaned , but the white powder Drug has stained the bottom half of the glass permanently.

Medium size Jar stands 7 1/2 inches tall, and overall 8 3/4 inches to the top of the stopper, and 3 1/2 inches across the base diameter.

Weighs 1 Pound and 6.0 Ounces.
