Rare Hobbs Opalescent Blue & White Stripes "Sheldon Swirl" Finger Lamp with a Frosted Footed Base !!! Ca. 1881.

Mint Pie Crust Top Chimney.

Burner is a #1 Victor Style with a Thumbwheel marked : "E. Miller & Co. * Made in USA"

Lamp Measures 5 1/2 inches High from base to top of polished brass collar, and overall 13 1/4 inches from base to top of chimney.

Weighs 1 Pound and 3.2 Ounces complete.

Condition : Opalescent Glass Oil Lamp is Near Mint, with only 2 flea bites just below the bottom mold line. Seen in the last photo under the base at 11 & 12 o'clock positions. There are a couple of normal trapped air bubbles in the glass. A couple in the fount, and one in the finger loop, seen in the second last photo. The Pie Crust Top Chimney has a Minty Green Tint. The Burner is slightly used.
