There is a formed wire that keeps the Fount from bouncing out while transporting. Awesome Original Red Stained Softwood Case, with the 3 Originally designed "Turnip Feet" which was later modified with an added 4th Foot for Stability. Wood has Fine Cut Nails in wood corners which were lapped jointed together. The Fine Nails were also used around the bottom edge to hold the bottom wood in the case. Antiquarian research reveals clues of foot design was changed on the underside.
