Marked "H.C. Cowden Harrisburg,Pa." which Predates the Cowden & Wilcox merger in 1880 Butter Crock in excellent condition !

Thrown on a Potter's Wheel with concentric curved rings from wire cutting bottom off of the wood wheel.

These are very hard to come by without any cracks.

The color is a deep, salt glazed, sandy butterscotch with a nice rim and a normal chocolate brown glaze inside.

No damage on this piece,Light Stamp or Touch Mark.

Measures 8 1/2 inches across top opening, and 4 5/8 inches High.

Weighs 3 Pounds,and 9.8 Ounces.
