Rare Artist Hand Flesh Tone Painted 3 Children around a Corn Yellow Figural Stem Oil Lamp with Sandwich Type Frosted and Cut to Clear Fount. The Boy is holding a small Harp in one hand. (No sign of any previous metalic paints found top or bottom)

Complete with a Patented 1870 & 1880 Re-issued High Dome Burner and Mint Pie Crust Chimney !

Statue Type or "Figurals" were popular in the 1870's to 1880's and can be found in those period Lamp Catalogs.

Period # 1 size Burner is thumbwheel marked "H.B. & H.* Star " for Holmes,Booth, and Hayden .

Lamp alone stands 11 5/8 inches High from the stone Base to top of brass Collar. Stone Base is fastened by correct square nut and is 5 inches square and almost 1 inch thick.

Weighs 5 Pounds and 12.3 Ounces complete.

Fount is attributed to Sandwich Glass for it's quality of cut, and the lack of any other internally embossed company name inside.
