Blown Cobalt Blue Fluted with a Spiral Twist Drinking Glass or Tumbler with a flat bottom showing the imprint of a Sharper Pointed Tool pushed into the Pontil Scar !
Early Blown Glass into a 5 Inch Ribbed Mold with a 2 3/8 inch Diameter . Removed from the 10 Ribbed Mold while still hot , and then Finished by Twisting the Form.
Cobalt Blue Color in thick parts of glass, and Saphire Blue at thinner parts of glass sides.
Measures 4 7/8 inches high.Top opening measures 3 3/8 inches across,and bottom is 2 3/8 inches across.
Weighs 6.9 Ounces.
This tumbler has correct & honest wear pattern on the base and the slightly protruding spiral ribs. Also Glass specks , and a few trapped tiny air bubbles and silica. (Art Glass tends to have an over abundant amount of air bubbles throughout, without any dirt specks or silica)
