Early Iron Candlestick nicknamed the "Hogscraper" !

Early Iron Candlesticks with unbroken Cast iron Stub removers with internal leaf springs are becoming very hard to find !

These Good Originals have the large bottom Square Nut on the Coarse threaded shaft, a Split Seamed Shaft, and an Applied top Rim, with a riveted stub cup. See the photos.

Nicknamed the "Hogscraper" due to it's similarity in form to a butchering "fat scraper" tool. The tool had a short dome shaped metal disc on a wooden shaft used as a handle to scrape the fat off of the inside of animal hides.

Good condition with normal overall tint of Oxidation. No ladder back chair hook.

Overall stands 6 inches High. Stub socket measures 2 inches deep, fully retracted.

Weighs 8.2 Ounces
